AeroPress Coffee Maker

Welcome to Daily Rise Coffee Roasters. In this detailed brew guide, we shall illuminate the process of crafting a delectable cup of coffee using the AeroPress Go.

Essentials:

  • 13 grams of Coffee – Wilderness Blend (or any preferred variety)
  • 180 grams of Hot Water – Temperature range: 195º to 205º F
  • AeroPress Go or AeroPress Coffee Maker
  • AeroPress Paper Filter
  • Digital Scale or 1 Level Scoop (provided by AeroPress)
  • Grinder or Pre-Ground Coffee (fine – akin to table salt)

Instructions:

  1. Insert the Plunger: Extend it slightly beyond the number 3 on the AeroPress Go chamber.

  2. Moisten Cap and Filter.

  3. Add Coffee: Measure 13 grams of finely ground coffee (or one level scoop) into the AeroPress Go.

  4. Pour Water: Fill until three-quarters full.

  5. Stir Mixture: Blend the coffee and water thoroughly.

  6. Add More Water: Top up to the rim or until 180 grams is reached.

  7. Steep: Allow the coffee to steep for three minutes.

  8. Secure the Cap.

  9. Invert and Press: Flip the AeroPress Go onto a mug and apply pressure until a hissing sound is heard, indicating it has bottomed out.

  10. Discard Puck: Remove the cap and push the plunger fully to expel the coffee puck.
